OLS is an employee-owned global content design studio. We exist to bring creative thinking to content execution and have helped over 800 brands create digital creative, social content and bespoke assets which deliver impact across all areas of their media plans. We do our best work as an extension of our clients’ in-house creative teams and pride ourselves on being as agile, responsive and ambitious as they are. Our skills include design, copywriting, 3D, animation, video editing, creator content, motion graphics and AR.

We are looking for a Copywriter with the strategic range to support high-impact campaigns across beauty, tech, and beyond. If you have the expertise to manage a diverse global portfolio of consumer and lifestyle brands, we want to hear from you!


SUMMARY:

A skilled, confident, and strategically minded writer who independently delivers high-quality, engaging copy for a diverse portfolio of brands. You will write with authority and consistency, adapting easily to multiple voices while balancing creative expression with commercial awareness to meet client goals and brand standards.

Working across multiple touch points – including static, video, and interactive units – you will bring insightful thinking to everything from campaign headlines and social posts to video scripts and web content. You will own projects from concept to delivery, applying critical thinking to produce elevated copy that is engaging, impactful, and persuasive.
 

YOUR DAY TO DAY:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Attend project kick-off calls with a variety of key stakeholders, contributing expert opinions and insights.
  • Creative Collaboration: Partner actively with Designers, Creatives, and Leads, playing a key role in ideation and providing innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Brief Ownership: Take ownership of briefs to develop dynamic copy for multiple project "packs" simultaneously – each consisting of different formats and requiring unique copy that adheres strictly to brand guidelines.
  • Quality Control: Provide clear, thorough, and actionable feedback during sign-off stages, incorporating guidance from the Creative Lead and ensuring projects move through the studio efficiently.
  • Strategic Rationale: Provide client-facing copy rationale for creative writing decisions, enforcing strategies and underpinning the work with logic.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, providing a professional sounding board alongside friendly, genuine support.
  • Studio Innovation: Contribute to the "always-on" evolution of the studio by adopting AI-supported workflows and actively developing time-saving processes and automations.

  • Versatile Storyteller: The ability to develop concepts and write effective, authentic copy for a wide variety of brands across beauty, fashion, travel, food and beverage, technology, and more.
  • Audience-First Thinking: Skilled at merging audience data with brand objectives to create purposeful, strategically aligned copy for discovery, consideration, and conversion.
  • Platform Expert: Deep knowledge of platform best practices, viral trends, and industry news to ensure work is always current and relevant.
  • Cool, Calm, Collected: Confidence in attending client meetings and articulating knowledge in a professional, mature manner – often acting as the sole copy representative for a project.
  • Operationally Excellent: A strong communicator who works proactively, self-prioritises, and manages multiple projects simultaneously without losing attention to meticulous detail.
